How It Works

It's easy to be a Bags VIP:

Visit maketraveleasier.com/jetblue after booking your JetBlue flight (or click the Bags VIP link in your email itinerary)
On the day of departure, identify yourself as a Bags VIP customer at the JetBlue ticket counter
The JetBlue crewmember will tag your bag and transport it to your final destination; A Bags VIP local delivery agent will meet your bag at the carousel and deliver it to your desired delivery location

Not only will your bag be carefully handled by Bags VIP, you will also receive email updates about your bag’s status throughout its journey.

The nitty gritty:

You will need to pay JetBlue for any baggage charges separate from the delivery charge. JetBlue does not charge for the first checked bag per person (within weight and size restrictions) but there are charges for two or more bags.
When the JetBlue crewmember takes your bag, they will place a dedicated “Bags VIP” tag on your baggage.
The Bags VIP local delivery agent will identify and retrieve your baggage within 30 minutes of flight arrival and send an email letting you know we have your bags.
Bags VIP will deliver your bags in up to 4-6 hours of flight arrival. You will receive emails when your baggage is picked up from the baggage carousel and when it is on its way for delivery. Extreme weather and traffic conditions can impact the delivery time.
If the delivery is to a residential address and you selected to require a signature upon delivery, a delivery attempt will not be made until you are contacted by phone in order to arrange a delivery acceptance time.
All baggage delivered to a hotel will be delivered to the hotel bell stand. Please be sure to contact the front desk of the hotel to let them know how to handle the baggage once it is delivered. Residential deliveries for flights arriving after 11:00 p.m. will arrive by noon the following day. Luggage will be secured and stored with the airline's baggage service office overnight until pick up by Bags VIP.

Your delivery will arrive within four hours after baggage retrieval if your destination is located within 40 miles from the airport and within six hours if your destination is between 41 and 100 miles from the airport.
