Bags VIP is a baggage delivery service in partnership with JetBlue, that helps make travel more convenient. This service allows you to skip baggage claim and have your baggage delivered directly to the location of your choice (home, office, hotel, golf course, etc.) within 100 miles of a participating destination airport. Bags VIP baggage delivery is available for all domestic flights arriving at the following airports:

  • Boston, MA (BOS)
  • Ft. Lauderdale, FL (FLL)
  • Las Vegas, NV (LAS)
  • Long Beach, CA (LGB)
  • Los Angeles, CA (LAX)
  • New York, NY (JFK)
  • Orlando, FL (MCO)
  • San Francisco, CA (SFO)
  • Washington, DC (DCA)
International flights from airports with pre-clearance are also eligible. Visit our Our Locations page to see a list of participating airports and international pre-clearance locations.

Pricing for a Bags VIP delivery within 40 miles of the arriving airport:

  • $39.95 for the first two bags
  • $10 per bag after the 2nd bag up to a maximum of 8 bags in an order
There is an additional $1 per mile surcharge for each mile in excess of 40 miles from the arriving airport, with a maximum delivery range of up to 100 miles.

Please remember that all JetBlue baggage fees are separate from the Bags VIP delivery charge.
JetBlue began offering Bags VIP on July 29, 2013.
To place a Bags VIP delivery order, book your delivery at least one hour before your scheduled departure on our website: www.maketraveleasier.com/jetblue. You will need to know your JetBlue confirmation number (this is the 6 letter record locator that can be found on your travel itinerary) as well as the address of the delivery location.

Yes, as long as you book your delivery order at least one hour before your scheduled domestic or international pre-clearance flight departure, your destination is a participating airport, and the delivery address is within 100 miles of the airport, you can participate in the Bags VIP service. Visit Our Locations to see if your arrival airport is eligible for Bags VIP delivery service. If you are on a delayed flight and would like to book the service, you can contact a Bags VIP reservation agent by dialing 1-877-847-0045.
  • Book your JetBlue flight for any domestic flight arriving at a participating airport. International flights from airports with pre-clearance are also eligible. Visit our Our Locations page to see a list of participating airports and international pre-clearance locations.
  • Use your flight information to complete a Bags VIP delivery order online, at least one hour before your scheduled departure. You will need to know your JetBlue confirmation number (this is the 6 letter record locator that can be found on your travel itinerary) as well as the address of the delivery location. You will also provide a description of your bag as well as any special instructions, such as, directions for accessing properties with gate or security codes, where to leave bags if a signature is not required or business hours and phone number for a delivery to a business.
  • Payment for the Bags VIP service is taken when you complete your order. This is separate from any JetBlue baggage charges you may need to pay when you check in for your flight.
  • Twenty-four hours before your flight, you will receive an email reminding you that you have signed up for the service.
  • On the day of departure, identify yourself as a Bags VIP customer at the JetBlue ticket counter and pay any airline baggage charges directly to JetBlue.
  • The JetBlue crewmember will tag your bag and transport it to your final destination; A Bags VIP local delivery agent will meet your bag at the carousel and deliver it to your desired delivery location
  • Should you need to make any changes to your order (number of bags, baggage different from the description, etc.) please contact a Bags VIP reservation agent by dialing 1-877-847-0045 or emailing BagsVIP@MakeTravelEasier.com.
  • When your flight reaches its final destination, bypass baggage claim and proceed to your destination. You will receive an email when you baggage is picked up from the carousel.
  • You will receive an email when your baggage is on its way for delivery. If you required a signature upon delivery, a delivery attempt will not be made until you are contacted by phone in order to arrange a delivery acceptance time.
  • Your bags will arrive in up to 4-6 hours of flight arrival.
  • You will receive an email to let you know your baggage has been delivered.

  • Please note:

  • Residential deliveries for flights arriving after 11:00 p.m. will arrive by noon the following day. Luggage will be secured and stored with the airline's baggage service office overnight until pick up by Bags VIP.
  • All baggage delivered to a hotel will be delivered to the hotel bell stand. Please be sure to contact the front desk of the hotel to let them know how to handle the baggage once it is delivered.
  • Deliveries with an address located inside a building may require the delivery to be accepted on the ground floor.
  • Extreme weather and traffic conditions can impact the amount of time the delivery takes.
  • Bags VIP does not deliver live animals.
You will need to pay JetBlue for any baggage charges separate from the delivery charge. The Bags VIP delivery fee covers the cost of your baggage delivery from the airport.

No, at this time we do not offer baggage shipping. Bags VIP is for the delivery of baggage checked when you depart for a flight.

If the bags are checked under two different JetBlue confirmation numbers, two separate baggage delivery orders are required.

No, we do not offer Bags VIP delivery service for destinations more than 100 miles from the arriving airport
Bags VIP is only available to individuals traveling on domestic flights or international flights from airports with a Customs pre-clearance program. U.S. Customs and Border Protection require passengers to collect their own baggage to be inspected by CBP. Our delivery agents are not authorized to collect baggage from JetBlue for an international flight that has not been inspected by CBP. If you are not traveling from an international pre-clearance location, but you have cleared customs and are flying on a connecting flight that originates in the U.S. or one of its territories, we can provide service for the domestic flight if it is arriving at one of our participating airports. No, we do not offer baggage delivery for any international airports or in any U.S. territories.
When your baggage is in the possession of Bags VIP, we accept liability for lost or damaged baggage up to $500 per bag or $1,000 per passenger. This coverage is included in Bags VIP standard service charge. Please refer to our Terms and Conditions section of our website for further details and specifications.

Bags VIP will contact you if your bag has been lost or damaged by an airline. You will then need to file a claim with the airline directly. If your baggage is lost, you will be refunded the Bags VIP delivery fee.
As long as your baggage meets the travel guidelines for JetBlue, it is eligible for delivery. Detailed restrictions are covered in our Terms and Conditions section of our website
No, you will need to personally claim any gate checked bags. Bags VIP will deliver your original Bags VIP baggage delivery order.
If a flight is canceled and/or diverted, you should contact Bags VIP customer service, by dialing 1-877-847-0045, as soon as possible to advise them of the change. We will either cancel the order at no cost, or dispatch the revised arrival details to the local delivery agent and proceed with delivery.
A Bags VIP service representative will contact you to inform you of the delay and provide you with the JetBlue contact information to file a claim. We will also refund your Bags VIP delivery fee. JetBlue will be responsible for the final delivery of your baggage.
If you take an earlier flight, please contact Bags VIP Customer Service as soon as possible by dialing 1-877-847-0045 to inform them of the change.
